A woman goes to the doctor, beaten black and blue. . . . .

>
> Woman:" Doctor, I don't know what to do. Every time my

>
> Doctor:"I have a real good medicine against that: When
> your husband comes home drunk, just take a glass of
> chamomile tea and start gargling with it. Just gargle and

>
> 2 weeks later she comes back to the doctor and looks
> reborn and fresh again.

> Woman:" Doc, that was a brilliant idea! Every time my

> Doctor:" you see how keeping your mouth shut helps!!!"

Bottle of Wine
(Women will LOVE this one!)
A woman and a man are involved in a car accident on a snowy, cold Monday morning; it's a bad one. Both of their cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt. God works in mysterious ways.
After they crawl out of their cars, the man is yelling about women drivers.
The woman says, 'So, you're a man. That's interesting. I'm a woman. Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but we're unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should be friends and live in peace for the rest of our days.'
Flattered, the man replies, 'Oh yes, I agree completely, this must be a sign from God! But you're still at fault...women shouldn't be allowed to drive.'
The woman continues, 'And look at this, here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.' She hands the bottle to the man.
The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman.
The woman takes the bottle, puts the cap back on and hands it back to the man.
The man asks, 'Aren't you having any?'
The woman replies, 'No. I think I'll just wait for the police...'

What women want
This is very interesting. ......... (To the Women) please take time to ponder...... To the Men)
enjoy the story....... .
Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, If after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.
The question was:
What do women really want?
Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, He accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: The princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Many people advised him to consult the old witch, For only she would have the answer.
But the price would be high as the witch was famous through out the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged. The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.
The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, The most noble of the Knights of the Round Table, And Arthur's closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunch-backed and hideous, had only one tooth, Smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc.
He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden, But Lancelot, having learnt of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life. And the reservation of the Round Table. Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered.
Arthur's question thus: "What a woman really wants?"
She said, "Is to be in charge of her own life."
Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth. And that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was. The neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom. And Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.
The honeymoon hour approached and, Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him.
The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, She would henceforth be her horrible and deformed self only half the time. And the beautiful maiden the other half.
"Which would you prefer? She asked him. "Beautiful during the day .... or at night?"
Lancelot pondered the predicament.
During the day he could have a beautiful woman to show off to his friends,
But at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch!
Or,
Would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day?
But by night a beautiful woman for him to share his thoughts, intimate
moments with?
(If you are a man reading this...) What would YOUR choice be?
(If you are a woman reading this) What should YOUR MAN'S choice be?
What Lancelot chose, is given below:
BUT... make YOUR choice before you scroll down below... OKAY?

Noble Lancelot, knowing the answer the witch gave Arthur to his question,He said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself. Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time. Because, he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE
This is how long a guy finally understand..
" It Took Me Years To Decipher The Meanings..."
Why?? Are those so difficult?? Women will think it is just "clear cut"
(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing there and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)
(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here – This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say
'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').
(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F--- YOU!
(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Love's Little Blind Spots
Sometimes, the power of your partner's self-absorption....how he or she can sit so cheerfully through dinner or engage with what he is doing..not knowing and oblivious to the fact that you're visibly upset.. may amaze you, But do not put a stop to the relationship so fast. There are a couple of good excuses to explain such clueless behavior, and they're likely to apply to you as well.
The first excuse has to do with an innocent brain glitch called attentional blink. Originally described by Canadian scientists in 1992, it occurs in certain circumstances when, for a split second, "we literally become unconscious of what might be happening right in front of us," says Richard Davidson, PhD, professor of psychology and psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Researchers can elicit the blink by showing subjects a rapid stream of numbers on a computer screen and asking them to hit a button every time they see a 3. When two 3s appear closely together, Davidson says, almost nobody hits the button twice. "It's as if the mind gets stuck on the occurrence of the first and misses the second."
This is particularly true when we're in a heated or passionate interchange. "With emotional cues, our attention is very sticky," he explains.
"We tend to grasp onto certain things, which is really what causes us to miss the others. Rubbernecking on the freeways is an example of attentional grasping." Davidson's latest research showed, however, that three months of intensive vipassana—or insight—meditation significantly reduced attentional blink. "Vipassana increases awareness of one's surroundings in a nonjudgmental, nonreactive way," Davidson says, but he believes any kind of meditation, even 20 minutes a day, could make spouses better at reading each other's subtleties.
There's another reason people fail to notice their lover's gestures, expressions, or words: "If you're doing well as a couple, basically you have a reservoir of goodwill, so he can be momentarily neglectful or mean-spirited, and it's discounted. "But couples not doing so well are quick to make a great deal of the lapse."Meditation can help spouses connect with more clarity and awareness.
It is recommended starting with a simple meditation of focusing on your breath; when your mind wanders, notice how it's distracted, and come back to your breathing. With regular practice, he says, "I believe a couple would be able to pick up more information about each other's emotional state and do it in a way that is not judgmental. The combination of those two things bodes quite well for improving interpersonal relationships."

Learning to Apologize
Do you have a difficult time admitting you were wrong? Reason cos' it's hard for people to say they're sorry. We're not strong enough to say we are sorry these days—the insecure people can't.
Although some believe that saying sorry is an admission of guilt, frailty and imperfection, only people who really believe in themselves can say they're sorry, . Others think that apologizing is an act of surrender, will change the dynamic of the relationship, means that you will have to do the "heavy lifting" in the relationship or will open yourself up to the possibility of further attack. Some would rather be right than be in a relationship.
However, these are some tips on how to learn to say you're sorry:
* Practice makes perfect. The more you do it, the more comfortable you become.
* Say it without any "but." What's worse than not apologizing is doing it with stipulations or limitations. "People will see your apology as insincere and that you won't be open-hearted to them,".
* Don't wait too long to apologize. The longer you wait, the less your apology means. It's important because it shows people that you want to deal with the situation, rather than retreat from it. "If you wait, too much damage may already be done.
"Immature people always want to win an argument, even at the cost of a relationship. Mature people understand that it's always better to lose an argument and win a relationship."

Love rules to live by....
There is potential for soul mate love all around us at every moment. It is a matter of recognizing the connection, sensing the "charge" of energy, and then cultivating a relationship that will take us beyond our present limitations. A soul mate brings us enormous joy and fulfillment, but even more importantly, soul mates lead us into our life's lessons. They get under our skin and push our buttons. They inspire us to look at who we are and where we need to grow.
Whether single, married, or somewhere in between, we can begin practicing masterful ways
of relating with whomever stands before us, and in this way, we become better and more enlightened human beings. We can become the love we want to find; we can source it from within.

Looking for Love
Psychologists say the key to getting off the dating merry-go-round often requires nothing more than taking time to get to know yourself before you try to get to know someone else.
Here are five ways to help you do just that:
* Define your core values.
* Understand your emotional needs.
* Identify your love pattern.
* Test drive a potential relationship.
* Once dating, go in for a three-month checkup.
Define Your Core Values
Understanding your core values is at the heart of truly knowing your needs.
These are the things about yourself that are not likely to change. They are the tenets you grew up believing and that deep down inside still seem to fit into your life no matter what else changes.
No matter how many qualities you put on your list of "must haves," nothing matters quite so much as finding someone who shares your core values. "In the end, they represent who you are and what you need. They are the deal breakers," While core values are different for every person, they often touch on such personal issues as:
* The desire to have children
* Religious beliefs
* How you deal with money
* How you make important decisions
* The importance you place on honesty, integrity, fidelity
* Even how you view divorce itself
And while we all have heard that opposites attract—and experts say they do—when it comes to the really big issues in our life, shared values are still what count the most. When it comes to our most important and lasting relationships, it's similar core values that becomes the glue that cements a couple together.
Understand Your Emotional Needs
While core values may form the foundation of who we are, our emotional needs often define the finer points of our relationships. We must acknowledge those emotional needs before we can find someone who can fill them.
A need for intimacy, for sexual gratification and satisfaction, a need to be honored and understood and even accepted by our partner, these are all important aspects of who we are. Each of us has our own way in which these needs must be met in order to feel happy and secure.
Understanding what fulfillment means to you is paramount to finding a partner with whom you can feel satisfied and happy.
The one caveat: Trouble comes when we look for a partner to fulfill us in ways that, ultimately, we can only fulfill ourselves.
If you are looking to a partner to make you feel worthwhile, to make you feel happy, to rescue you from a bored or unhappy life, if you are seeking someone to make you feel complete or whole—well then you have some work to do, because these are needs that are never going to be met by any one other than yourself. To put those demands on someone else is to set up yourself—and the relationship—for failure.
Identify Your Love Pattern
So how do we go about finding the kind of person who can meet our emotional needs and share our core values? Experts say we should look for clues in the good relationships we already have with friends and family members.
Think about relationships you've had—or currently have—that bring out the best in you.Think about the relationships in which you have felt you could grow and the ones that left you feeling fulfilled. Not just romantic relationships, but any relationships with family and with friends.
Also important: Think about the people who make you feel safe and secure, the people with whom you can be yourself. Eventually, a pattern of personality traits will begin to emerge. Not coincidentally, these will be the same traits that will serve you best in a romantic partner.
You are looking for not only character traits, but also ways of relating to you, and you to them. Look for what has worked in previous relationships.
In the end, it's often the people around whom you feel the most comfortable that possess the kind of traits you need for a lasting partnership.
Test Drive a Potential Relationship
Looking inside yourself can help prepare you for a successful relationship, but eventually you must apply what you've discovered—and begin seeking a partner. Unfortunately, it's at this point where many of us make some heartbreaking mistakes.
One of the most common mistakes: Believing that a person whose looks and personality you like also possesses the important qualities you need for a long-term relationship—before you really know the person.
There's something called cognitive dissonance—meaning your head believes one thing and your heart believes something else. When you are in the throes of those toe-curling tingles, your heart is going to overrule your head every time.
When your sense of logic finally does come back—which takes about 120 days from your first toe curl—suddenly your heartthrob may not seem so appealing. It's equally frustrating when you're still "feeling the buzz" and your partner isn't.
Many such problems could be avoided, if we viewed new relationships like they were a new car—starting with the "test drive" known as "dating."
At the early stages of any relationship you should be dating—and that's dating, not sleeping with. This will give you the emotional distance and time you need to get to know them before you get too serious with any one person.
Go In for a Three-Month Checkup
If the relationship progresses and you like what you see, within two months time you can start dating more seriously, perhaps even exclusively. But within three to four months, it's back to the new car analogy for one more spin around the relationship block.
No matter how good a new car is running, you've still got to take it in for that three-month checkup. The same is true for relationships.
That checkup should involve honestly answering some tough questions about your partner, including:
* Is he really as honest as I first thought?
* Does she have the same moral fiber I thought she did?
* Does he really possess the kind of core values that mean something to me?
* Is she who I thought she was?
If the answers are no, pay attention. Experts say red flags are red for a reason—so you can see them! If your partner isn't making the grade, cut your losses fast and run.
Remember you can change a person's socks, you can change their haircut, but you can't change their core values—or yours.
Here are five ways to help you do just that:
* Define your core values.
* Understand your emotional needs.
* Identify your love pattern.
* Test drive a potential relationship.
* Once dating, go in for a three-month checkup.

Dating Dangers: Love's a Minefield
Your parents did it. Guys and gals, rocket scientists, even nuns probably do it, at least once. The topic is dating, and the custom is as old as Adam and Eve.
Dating is the path to love—and that path, as we know, can be a minefield.
We date and we date, but we don't find Mr. or Ms. Right. In fact, we may find someone a lot scarier.
Watch out for these dangers.
Blinded by Chemistry
Face it, finding a great mate takes some research. You're going to go through a lot of people, until you find someone where there is some kinetic thing, some magnetism, some desire to know more.
You're looking for a connection, someone you're physically attracted to—who's physically attracted to you—plus someone who doesn't make you feel bored from the get-go,
Chemistry, mutual interests—that's all great. But don't let the love bug mesmerize you.
There's woman who fell "totally in love" with a man she met online. Six months later, they met. Eventually, he encouraged her to sell her house, pack everything and prepare herself for a new life. Then comes the e-mail saying, "I can't go through with this. I'm sorry, I'm dishonest, I'm married."
You have to be very careful. The dating advice: "You can't change the spots on a leopard."
Dying of Boredom
A date isn't a therapy session. Don't ramble about lost loves or your personal problems too much.At the beginning, your dates don't need to know about your insecurities, your dead-en
Getting Cynical
Sure, dating can be frustrating, even disillusioning. But don't let it get you down. If you're feeling negative, you'll scare off the good ones. Get out, meet people, and be open to new people and new experiences. You'll meet someone. After all, dating is a process of elimination—you just haven't met the right one yet.
Some people are much more rigid or sure about what they want. They don't want to make the same stupid mistakes. But feeling jaded, that's a self-invented problem. There are many good people out there. If you have a 50-item list of criteria, if you're too specific about what you want, too rigid, you're going to find yourself alone forever.
The dating advice: Look beyond the bald head and other imperfections. "Have an open, optimistic mind. You've got to have enthusiasm, imagination. There's matured woman who thought she wanted an intellectual. But she met a layman and is having a great time! When people say they're cynical, jaded, they're really scared of having to change a little bit.
Keep a good attitude about your past. When people get divorced, they forget the good stuff about that relationship, and it undermines their confidence. It's all about attitude. You have to feel proud of yourself, feel good about yourself, happy to meet people. If you think they all have to be the love of your life, you're going to be unhappy.

How to Break Up Gracefully
There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but some are better than others. Learn the dos and don'ts of ending a romantic relationship.
It's not you, it's me…or is it?
Just about all of us have heard—or even said—this line as a way of ending a romantic relationship. The problem is that it often leaves the dumpee thinking the exact opposite.
But is there really a way to make a clean and honest break? Is it ever okay to lie when ending a romantic relationship? Can you IM him or her that it's over, or do you have to do it in person? Is it really possible to be friends with your ex after a breakup?
WebMD went to the experts to get the best breakup advice ever. Read this before you even think of uttering another clichéd breakup line or texting the bad news to your soon-to-be ex.
All Relationships Are Not Created Equal
"The nature of how to handle a breakup has to do with how you experience a relationship," says New York City-based psychoanalyst and psychotherapist Janice Lieberman, PhD, who specializes in relationship issues.
For starters, she says, not every relationship deserves a dramatic breakup. There are no hard and fast rules about what constitutes a relationship. "There are people who think they have a relationship with two dates and people who don't think they are in a relationship after 20 dates," she says. "If you have gone on one or two or three dates, not calling is breaking up, but after some kind of romantic and sexual encounters, it is a courtesy to call," Lieberman tells WebMD. "Sometimes it's easier not to call, and there are people who will just run away."
Don't Break Up Over E-mail
The tabloids widely reported that pop star Britney Spears broke up with her now-ex-husband Kevin Federline via a text message. But text messages, e-mails or other high-tech message delivery systems are not the best medium for ending a romantic relationship.
Social networking sites, including MySpace and Facebook, allow users to post comments on one another's pages, but they should never be used to end a romantic relationship. Nor should websites like Breakup Butler, which delivers several types of prerecorded breakup messages ranging from let-them-down-easy to downright mean.
"If it's a casual encounter, a text message is okay. But to my mind, it's better to call and speak or go out to dinner,".
"The news of a breakup should never be broken over text or e-mail," says Alison Arnold, PhD, a therapist in Phoenix who is also known as "Doc Ali," the life coach on the VH1 series Scott Baio Is 45…and Single. "Texting a breakup is the coward's way out,"
Stick to the Relationship Facts
"Face-to-face or phone contact is a must," Arnold says. "It's important to give the person with whom you are ending the relationship the chance to ask questions and feel the sentiment underneath the words."
Be as direct and honest as you can, she advises. "Don't engage in tit-for-tat arguments. Stick to the facts: 'It's not working, it's no one's fault, we need to make a change.'"
Can You Be Friends with Your Ex?
Whether two people can remain friends after a breakup depends on the two people and their feelings about the end of the relationship.
"If someone is very much in love—and [then] broken up with—and forever trying to get back with that person, then having a platonic relationship does not work," Lieberman says. "If you are still in love with the person and want them back, the best thing to do is go cold turkey."
While many a jilted lover claims to seek closure by going back just one more time after a breakup, such closure is a "fantasy or a hope," Lieberman says.
"If in your heart of hearts you really want to get back together, the best thing to do if the other person is not into it is to get out of it," she says.
Arnold agrees. "Do take at least eight weeks with no contact. No phone. No 'let's get together for coffee.' No nothing," she says. "You need time to detox and get in touch with yourself again."
Talking every day as "friends" is also a no-no. "That just keeps the wounds and hope open and working," Arnold says. "Don't keep calling to 'check in,' hear how his or her day was or if the dog ate his dinner. Cut the cord in all ways."
Another no-no? Breakup sex, she says.
Prescription for Healing After the Relationship Ends
"Do learn from each relationship," Arnold says. "Write down five things you appreciated about this relationship that you would like to have in the next one and five things you would not like to create next time."
Instead of stalking your ex or making up excuses to call or see him or her, "keep yourself busy with new activities, old friends and healthy distractions," Arnold says.
"Don't get right into a new relationship, she advises. "Don't medicate your sadness with a new person. It isn't fair to either of you."

Red Flags in Dating??
Is today's society relationship challenged? There are two kinds of commitment phobia: the active, in which the person is aware of the issue, and the passive. "The latter reveals itself by dating the wrong person in the first place … thereby sabotaging the relationship before it even begins.
Highlights red flags and what to look out for in a relationship:
* He flirts overtly with women—even when you're with him—and says it's harmless.
* He is someone who wants to be taken care of. He's looking for a mommy, or she's looking for a sugar daddy!
* He tends to shut down and won't communicate.
* She is jealous of time you spend with your friends or limits your access to your friends.
* He has a terrible temper. He yells, doesn't apologize and blames you for it. He says he would stop if you wouldn't provoke him.
In order to avoid dealing with these red-flag situations, look for the following values in your significant other,
* Are you attracted to him?
* Does she have a good heart?
* Does he have the capacity to put other people before himself and empathize with another person's plight?
* Does she share your core values? If not, does she at least harbor other fundamental core convictions?
* Does he understand that a relationship is the ability for two people to cater the needs of each other (even if they do not understand each other)?
"Many people today are passive commitment-phobic. They date the wrong person at the outset, thereby sabotaging the relationship before it even begins. When it comes to choosing a spouse, attraction and compatibility are, of course, vital. But nothing is more important than good character."

Wedding ceremonies..are these a waste time and money??
Nowadays with the inflation rate and the price of everything skyrocketing, our spending power is lesser and lesser. So, RM20,000 or more is easily spent on a wedding and is now considered average. but you could be richer and just as happy if you had a less-expensive but equally joyous celebration.
I am not favoring to couples eloping!! because family members and friends should be there to celebrate with you and bless you both to a new life together. "But, be humble. Have a nice, modest, decent-sized wedding. Make the wedding special not by ostentatious displays, but with joyous get together —a memorable celebration."
With the money you don't spend on your wedding, You are better off and can get ahead in other areas of life. [Use the money for a] down payment on house, pay off school debts, start a business or save them up for rainy days.....etc, etc.
As long as you celebrate with families/friends and can inspire others with the power of your love for each other, your wedding day will be a wonderful memory that won't leave behind bills that could haunt you for a few decades.
"An expensive wedding does not make a good marriage." Eloping denies your family and friends from celebrating your joyous occasion with you. Have a modest wedding where the occasion is memorable but need not necessary have to pay tro' your nose with heavy burdens just to celebrate this joyous occasion. Do away with all those alcohol yelling of 'yam seng' lavish dinners.Never compare your marriage to others. What you see on the outside is not always what it is on the inside.
Many myths that surround marriage can give you unrealistic expectations. Disappointment is sure to come if you are looking for the Cinderella-like happily-ever-after storybook marriage year after year.
If you watch late night TV, enjoy classic movies, listen to love songs, or read romantic novels, then you may have an image of marriage that never, ever was.
These shows may make you believe that life is always wonderful, that all of your needs can and should be met by your spouse, children are the icing on the cake, marriage will solve all your problems, and you will live happily ever after.
MYTH: Romance will always be alive in a good marriage.
REALITY: Nearly all relationships experience peaks and valleys. The everyday problems and challenges of married life can often cloud over romantic feelings. This is when making the decision to love is important.
Your marriage needs love, support, tolerance, communication, realistic expectations, caring, nurturing, and a sense of humor to be successful.

The Relationship and marriage
The Best Things for Your Relationship
"Stop all shame, blame and criticism. Instead ask for what you want in a clear, specific and positive manner, and express appreciation for your partner. To elaborate: Men need to feel competent—that they make a contribution and that it is noticed."
— Harville Hendrix, PhD, author of Getting the Love You Want
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Change from a critical habit of mind, in which you're very involved with your partner's mistakes, to a positive one, in which you catch him doing something right."
— John M. Gottman, PhD, author of The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide
to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"When your relationship starts to break down, you need AAA: an Apology, Affection, and a promise of Action. You say you're sorry for what you've said or done to hurt or disappoint your partner. You immediately offer a hug, a kiss—some meaningful gesture of warmth. You pledge to do something that matters to your partner."
— Mira Kirshenbaum, psychotherapist and author of The Weekend Marriage
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"With books on the market like How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, one of the greatest services you can do for a guy is to reassure him that he doesn't have to make love like a porn star. You can show him how to have sex like a woman: creative, sensual, non-genital-based, and more pleasure- than orgasm-focused."
— Ian Kerner, PhD, author of She Comes First
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"All relationships grow a bit stale as time goes by, and the longer-lasting they are, the staler they can get. The best thing you can do is pump in some fresh air. A long weekend in a romantic hideaway would be ideal, but even a few hours in a motel helps. Don't tell anyone where you are, turn off your cell phones, and unplug the TV. When you get home, you'll find your relationship has acquired ruddy cheeks."
— Dr. Ruth Westheimer, psychosexual therapist and author of 52 Lessons on Communicating Love

THE 'FUN' OF GETTING MARRIED?
Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual, or legal union of individuals. This union called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding.
A marriage is often formalized during a marriage ceremony, which may be performed either by a religious personnel as in church/temple wedding etc.
Those days wedding ceremony is very hectic...rush, rush manner where the couples have to do all those traditionally a must..the tea ceremony,...rush rush for photography because it is considered a bad omen having to wear the wedding gown for the 2nd time. and later usually followed by dinner at night!! Imagine how tired the couples can become at the end of the wedding day.
The way in which a marriage is conducted has changed over time.Photography are taken way ahead of the wedding date. Beautiful, stylish wedding photos album are already on hand to show during the wedding day itself. Gone are the days where the groom will only sit there patiently or 'impatiently' waiting for the bride's hand...
Nowadays, the so called 'modern' wedding especially to those young Chinese couples, the act of wedding ceremony usually would involves a lot of other activities which creates lots of din mostly between the bride and the grooms friends.
There are a series of hurdles set out by the bride's friends.. for the groom to tackle before he is allowed into the room to meet up with the bride. It is smart of the bridegroom to come with his comrades to help clear these so-called 'obstacles'.
A series of fun games are carried out where the bridegroom and his comrades have no choice but to conform and play along. Games are somewhat targeting them to some funny embarrassing manner where everyone would be involved. So, here you can witness what sincerity and what friends are for!!
People marry for many reasons, marrying for the sake of legal, social, and economic stability to form a family unit and to nurture children or a lot more other reasons only known to the persons involved.
Getting married is certainly not for the 'fun' of it only. Getting married is..
"To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part."

The WEDDING MANIA'
It had been a tradition for most Chinese couples to set their wedding date beginning from the 8th of the Chinese Calender month till the end of the lunar year. These months I like term it the 'wedding mania' months.
This year 2008 particularly the number of wedding invitations had increased mainly because of the year 2008 is auspicious because it sounded in Cantonese as 'yee ting ting fatt' meaning easy to prosper. So..these significant dates would also prosper all those businesses in connected to wedding industries. Business like renting/making of wedding gowns, the beauty house, the photography and especially the restaurant businesses where the wedding dinner will be held. These food business are being fully booked very much earlier.Throughout now until year 2009 they are all taken up!!
Lives nowadays are hectic where humans barely able to spent time with their own families..whats not to visit distant relatives!!It is at these occasion where we are able to gather all of them together. While I have to agree that it is a joyful occasion to be able to attend and meet up and enjoy dinner together. Having said that, I also dread going to these dinner....It is the 'waiting' that I dislike most!! These wedding dinners are never...yeah never ever punctual. This is a very unhealthy and time wasting habits which needed to change for the benefits of everyone. However, this bad inconsiderate act of being late for wedding dinners never seems to get any better regardless of who the hosts is.
If only there is a certain type of clock-in time to counter check those who are the late comers...Like being left out or lock out once the time is up for dinner!! Nevertheless, it would be difficult when this would be considered arrogant and nasty thing to do...not to your circle of friends and relatives.
Perhaps, a more approachable method is to hire a cruise ship to set sailing when dinner time is up. Wouldn't this be nice kind of lavish dinner which included cruising when dinner is being served? This way whoever late will miss the boat!! It would remain a fantasy until and unless the host is really rich enough to provide such type of transportation to their guests...who are far away from the the coastal areas....

The story of Breakfast at McDonald’s ..
This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):
The story goes...
I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.
The last class I had to take was Sociology. The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.
Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'
The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.
I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So I thought this would be a piece of cake.
Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.
It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.
We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.
I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside me as I turned to see why they had moved.
As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.
As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'.
His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.
He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.
The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.
I held my tears as I stood there with them.
The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.
He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).
Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.
That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.
I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.
I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.
He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'
I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'
I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope.'
We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.
We are not church goers, but we are believers.
That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.
I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.
I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.
Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'
I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.
She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.
In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.
I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:
UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.
Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to
LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.
There is an Angel sent to watch over you.

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.
To handle yourself, use your head.
To handle others, use your heart.
