THE 'FUN' OF GETTING MARRIED?

Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual, or legal union of individuals. This union called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding.

A marriage is often formalized during a marriage ceremony, which may be performed either by a religious personnel as in church/temple wedding etc.

Those days wedding ceremony is very hectic...rush, rush manner where the couples have to do all those traditionally a must..the tea ceremony,...rush rush for photography because it is considered a bad omen having to wear the wedding gown for the 2nd time. and later usually followed by dinner at night!! Imagine how tired the couples can become at the end of the wedding day.

The way in which a marriage is conducted has changed over time.Photography are taken way ahead of the wedding date. Beautiful, stylish wedding photos album are already on hand to show during the wedding day itself. Gone are the days where the groom will only sit there patiently or 'impatiently' waiting for the bride's hand...

Nowadays, the so called 'modern' wedding especially to those young Chinese couples, the act of wedding ceremony usually would involves a lot of other activities which creates lots of din mostly between the bride and the grooms friends.

There are a series of hurdles set out by the bride's friends.. for the groom to tackle before he is allowed into the room to meet up with the bride. It is smart of the bridegroom to come with his comrades to help clear these so-called 'obstacles'.

A series of fun games are carried out where the bridegroom and his comrades have no choice but to conform and play along. Games are somewhat targeting them to some funny embarrassing manner where everyone would be involved. So, here you can witness what sincerity and what friends are for!!

People marry for many reasons, marrying for the sake of legal, social, and economic stability to form a family unit and to nurture children or a lot more other reasons only known to the persons involved.
Getting married is certainly not for the 'fun' of it only. Getting married is..
"To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part."
